A free collection of natural sounds recorded around Australia, using a Zoom H6 with XY microphone capsule. 

Kangaroo Island Recordings

I took a slight detour to Kangaroo Island on my mission back to Perth, after the Melbourne lockdowns. I was stunned by the beauty of the island and excited to see koalas surrounding me in the eucalyptus trees of the campgrounds, the first I'd seen up close in the wild. I recorded this ugly performance late one night, which I believed to be mating at the time. I've since been told it is actually a courting scenario.
I also recorded some wetlands in the area using a pair or hydrophones:

Dried Fruit Surprise

Shinjuku Thief’s latest playful tamper with the ACMI collection uses what might be the weirdest dried fruit advertising campaign ever directed by Fred Schepisi. I contributed sound design to this project.
